Tipple was easy In the initial combat and the Kaws had no trouble, winning 9 to 4, and the second battle was won by the tsame score. PITTSBURGH. Aug. I.-Australasla's tennis pair. Norman E, Brookes and An thony Y. Wilding, made a. clean sweep of the Davis cup matches on the courts of the Allegheny Country club at Beewlck ley today by beating Otto Froltihelm and Oscar Kreuser, the Germans, In the sin gles. The real honor of the day fell to K revi ser, who lost out in the third sstpt his match against Brookes end played the famous Australasian off his feet, Kreuser rould not hold the pace, however, and he had to let down on his sensational rtrquet work, with the result that Brookes' final score was 6-4, (-2, 6-8, 6-2. Wilding had little to do to defeat Frolti helm at 6-3, 6-4. -2. The rallies were good and well fought. Wilding showed his ability to hold the finning shot, however, and ,he won without any apparent effort. The German players will leave for New York tomorrow night and probably will stay at the Crescent Aathletlc club until they sail for Germany, which will be at the earliest opportunity, The Australa sians will not leave here tomorrow.
