Fortieth and Webster streets, at 10 o'clock Monday forenoon. The extent of his acquaintance and the grief over his death were shown by the great number of persons present and by the banks of flowers surrounding the casket. Father Harrington, the pastor, celebrated requiem high mass, assisted by Father McQovern of Bt. Phllomena's church and Father Ryan of Crelghton college, th music of the mass being under the direc tion of Miss Margaret Swift. Mrs. Tem ple ton. sister of Mr. O'Keefe, and her hus band, reached Omaha Saturday from their home at Roanoke, Va to be present at the burial. The honorary pallbearers were: Andrew Murphy. F. 11. UNUSUAL TRIBUTE- TO DEAD While Employe of M. Splesterer Company Pall Bearers at Col ored Man's Fnneral. The unusual spectacle of a negro betiuj carrled to his grave by white pall bearer and the members of ths funeral party being composed almost entirely of white persons was witnessed at Forest Lawn cemetery on Sunday morning. This unusual tributs was paid to Allen Robinson, a negro who has been in the employ of the M. Spies- . berger Millinery company for ths last fif teen years, and who died on Friday, after a brief lllneaa. Robinson cam with the Arm from Keo kuk, la., seven years ago, aa did a number of other employee, who have practically grown up with the Arm. The negro be longed to the old school snd was so faith ful to his employers and their customers that no thought of race or color was en tertained by thoae who paid him the un-' usual distinction of taking charge of his Interment.
