Callers were Mrs. Dor othy Comstock, Mrs. Mary Wel ton and Mrs. William Buck. Jim Voehl entered Veterans Hospital. Mrs. Dora Miller returned home from the hospital May 19. Jack Miller of Madison visit ed his mother, Mrs. Dora Mil ler while she was hospitalized and also visited Mr. and Mrs. Jack Fritch. Visitors with Mr. and Mrs. Jack Fritch and Mrs. Dora Miller were Mrs. Miller's sister, Mrs. Mabel Beckman and Mr. and Mrs. Don Beckman and family, all of Omaha. Mrs. Claude Crockett of St. Joseph, Mo., spent a week with her daughter, Mrs. Kelmar Han sen and Mr. Hansen and fam ily. The Hansen children, Retha, Lynnette, Leon and Norma, returned home with their grand mother to spend a few weeks of their vacation. Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Barber and family spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Harre at Exeter. Mr. and Mrs. Ellis Bockel man and girls and Mrs. Edith Bockelman and Frances visited the Schliefert Iris Gardens near Murdock. Mr. and Mrs. Turley Wall at tended the Frances Creech stu dents spring musical at Have lock. Mr. and Mrs. Wall's four grandchildren who participated in the recital were Frances, Patty, Mike and Lila Jo, chil dren of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Wall. Mr. and Mrs. Turley Wall called on Mike Smith and Mrs. George Peckham of Lincoln. Michele O'Rourke celebrated her eighth birthday with ice cream and cake. Guests were Palty Comstock, Mrs. Rose Mc Donald and Mrs. Mary Jackson. Mrs. Charles Heier and chil dren of Ashland visited Mrs. Ellis Bockelman and Cindy. Mr. and Mrs. Ellis Bockel man, Cindy and Sheralee vis ited with Mr. and Mrs. Keith Weston at Ashland. Visitors with Mrs. Mabel Lam bert were Mrs. Ohla Sloan and Mrs. H. B. Nelson of Lincoln and Florence Meinson of Ash land. Guests of Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Haertel and family honoring Mrs. Haertel on her birthday were her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Damme of Cook and her brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Allen Schroeder of Tal mage. Mr. and Mrs. Ross Casey were supper guests of Rev. and Mrs. Burkley of Lincoln. Mr. and Mrs. Don Miller of Lincoln were supper and eve ning guests of Mr. and Mrs. Ross Casey. Mr. and Mrs. D, . Bucking ham visited at the Stanley Ber gen home in Omaha and also called nt the Ben Buckingham home in Gretna. Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Bell and Lloyd visited Mrs. Richard Sch uelke of Lincoln. Cindy Bauersach- was honor ed on her 9th birthday at her home when 23 guests were en tertained for a party. Guests of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Stradley were Mrs. Stradley's brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Sanford Curtis of Lin coln. Mr. and Mrs. Turley Wall at tended the burial of Paul Stan der and the funeral of Mrs. Wall's brother-in-law, Tom Ma lone of Syracuse. Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. C. W. Osburn were Mr. Os -burn's nephew and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Loy Osburn and daughters of Beatrice and Mr. and Mrs. Ted Bulling and boys of Lincoln. Visitors at the John Johnson home were Mr. and Mrs. Say les Thomsen and Billy of Lin coln. Mrs. Norma . McNurlin spent a few days with her son-in-law atr.d, daughter, Mr. and Mrs. George Brandes of Wichita, Kan. Mrs. Brandes brought Mrs. McNurlin home to spend a few days.
