Mark Heil, president, opened the meeting with the pledge of allegiance to the flag and also the 4-H pledge. Minutes of the last meeting were read by the .secretary, Su-san Glassholf and approved by the members. Mrs. Hell led the singing of the song, "Battle Hymn of the Republic.'' After a short busi ness meeting, we enjoyed listen. lng to Mr. Don Hammel, a representative from the Wayne Feed Company, who gave many helpful suggestions on the care, and proper feeding of chickens. There were eight visitors pres ent at our meetin?. The next meeting will be May 7 at 8 pm. at the home of Bill Haubach. Obituary Wilbur William Hennlngs II Wilbur William (Sonny) Hen nlngs II was born May 9, 1943. In Phoenix, Ariz., and died on March 23 at Northrldgc, Calif., at the age of 19. He moved with his family to 'California In 1957 and was ' 1 ....j 1 . c.. IPnrnanffn grauuait'u uum umi ...... High School In 1961 and was employed by Pacific Telephone Co. at the time of his death. He Is survived by his mother, Mrs. Dorthea Nisewander; his father, Wilbur Hennlngs Sr.; three sisters, Mrs. Willa Treon, Mrs. Wilberta McDonald and Janle Hei.nlngs; and his grand parents, Herman Smith of Ne hawka, and Mr. and Mrs. Wil liam Hennings of Plattsmouth. Herman Smith and his daugh ter, Mrs. Marie Jones, went , from Omaha by Jet plane to al j tend the funeral. Mrs. Jones ; returned home March 28.
