Spotlight on Milk for Extension Clubs BY MRS. KAY I.EIbING Extension Home Agent Home Extension clubs will be studying milk cookery during May. Home Living Tour Approximately 30 4-H mem bers, mothers and leaders from Cass County will be participating in a tour in Lincoln on Saturday, April 20. Lancaster and Cass counties are both participating in this event. We were one of the 12 counties in Nebraska to be awarded a $75 scholarship from Sears for hav ing the most members enrolled in advanced home living projects during 1902. Lancaster and Cass counties are combining the $75.00 awards. The tour will Include a visit at Ag. Campus a demonstration and discussion of proper lighting and a luncheon at the Lincoln Hotel. In the afternoon a char tered bus will take the group to a wallpaper and paln' store, an unpainted furniture store and to a home with some refinished furniture and some In the pro cess of being finished. The bus trip will also include a visit to 2 new model homes In N. E. Lin coln. The day sounds like a big one Which should offer the girls much enthusiasm for their own home Improvement projects. Spring Tea The annual Home Extension Spring Tea is being planned for April 30. Nancy Childs of Lin coln, our speaker, will discuss "Personality and Charm". She has a modeling school In Lincoln and is a homemaker and mother. You do not need to be a Home Extension club member to attend the tea. Please come and bring a friend. The clubs from the Elmwood-Eagle-Alvo area are serving the tea this year.
