Clifford Kennell, son of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Kennell, who has been stationed at Fort Lewis, Wash., since his induct ion in the army, is home for a thirty day furlough. He lias been enjoying a visit in Denver with friends and will have the opportunity of seeing many of the old friends while back home. Clifford Is assigned to the 471 h infantry where he has been ser ving since his arrival at the post. He likes the northwest very much and has been given the opportunity of seeing a great deal of the Pacific northwest. But one case has been dis posed of and that has been pend ing since June 3rd. The court heard the complaint against a 17-year-old girl, charged with possession of intoxicants by a minor.
