The Board approved the bond for Raymond Larson as mem ber of the Veterans Service Committee, effective until July 1, 1961. The application of Lester Cooper of Wabash, for an Off Sale Beer license was disap proved by the Board. Mr. and Mrs. Tom Tennant and Mrs. O. L. Robbins were dinner guests at the M. K. Schroeder home in Syracuse Friday. Air. and Mrs Lestor Wagoner called at the Robert Wagoner home Sunday evening. Mr. and Ms. P. G. Hennings and Mrs. Elmer Johnson attend ed the funeral of Mrs. Delia Eyer at " Mead Sunday. Mrs. Eyer 'was a cousin of Mrs. Johnson and Mrs. Hennings. Mrs.' P. G. Hennings spent Friday ' at the Elmer Johnson home. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Derby of Plattsmouth were dinner guests at the Arthur Derby home Sun day and together they visited Mrs. Clinkenbeard and baby at the hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Beauford Clink enbeard are the proud parents of a seven pound, 11 ounce boy born at St. Joseph Hospital, July 7, named Daniel Dean. Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Ira Clinkenbeard of Plattsmouth and Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Derby of Louisville. Mr. and Mrs. Jojn Van Vleit and family of Lincoln, Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Johnson and Vicki of Weeping Water, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Johnson enjoyed a pic nic supper at the Elmer John son home July 4. Edward Van Vleit stayed over with his grand parents for a longer visit. Kenneth Sutton, Mrs. Clar ence Sjogren and family, Billie Sutton and Bobie called at the Elmer ! Sprieck - home Saturday afternoon. Bobie and Billie Sut ton and Kenneth Sjogren spent a few days with Kenneth Sut ton at his home in Omaha. He brought them home Saturday. Mrs. Roy Derby of California spent Wednesday at the Oren Derby home.
