Weaver, Jr., and Dennis return ed home Sunday after having a week vacation in the Block llills. They had a cabin near Dead wood and attended the rodeo there. They report it was very hot while traveling in the Bad londs with the temperature aa 110 degrees. Mr. and Mrs. A. D. Bachman looked after things while Miltons were gone. Mr. and Mrs. A. F. Haase ond Donald and Mr. and Mrs. Carl Kuppke drove to Minden Sun day where they visited Pioneer Village. Mrs. James Estes who will be remembered as Miss Marjorie Nelson, of Neah Bay, Wash., come Thursday for a visit with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ray mond Nelson, while her husband is attending school in Denver, Colo. South Ashland Gets Polio Shot Mr. ond Mrs. Melvin Wiles and Terry went to Murroy Tuesday where Terry received his sec ond polio shot. The Wiles fam ily went to Weeping Water where they were dinner guests of Mr. Wiles grandmother, Mrs. Geo. Wiles, Sr. They were supper guests that evening of Mr. and Mrs. Eli Gaudreault and their guest Mrs. Elmer Meisinger at their cabin near the South Bend Lake. South Ashland . Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Soward, Orie Sowards, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Keller, Mr. and Mrs.- Earl Mans field, and Ernest Hornsberger were collers on V. E. Sowards at the hospital in Lincoln this past week. Mr. Sowards seems some better and enjoys company very much. South Aih'and Driver Has Attack Mr. and Mrs. Bennett Born man spent Tuesday overnight with their sister, Mrs. ; Lloyd Ronslem and daughter in Oma has, leaving early Wednesday morning taking Mrs. Ranslem to North Platte where they were called by the serious illness of Mr. Ronslem. He" suffered a heart attack there on Tuesday. Mr. Ronslem is a driver for a bus line and had arrived in North Platte a half hour before ' the ottack. He is now in St. Mary's hospital in North Platte. He is also suffering witti pneumonia. - South Ashland John Laughlin accompanied his brother-in-law Paul Gerard, of Weeping Water to Oskalcosa Iowa, for the weekend. They at tended the Eveland family re union. South Ashland Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Bahm and Allen of Memphis were Sunday evening guests- of - Mr. Bahms sister Mrs. Rolph Wagner and Mr. Wagner. - Mr. and Mrs. George Gode, Jr., and Robert and Mr. and Mrs. Carl Ericksdn attended a pic nic at the State Park at Mem plis Sunday where th guests at a reunion of the Ue berrhein families.
