Harold Dodson, John Stanley and his father, Ed Stan ley, camped over the week end at Camp Cedar west of Fremont rear the Platte river. One hun dred and eight Cub Scouts and their dads were there Saturday afiornoon and Sunday. They registered Saturday noon, were assigned to tents and the aft ernoon was spent in swimming, archery and rifle shooting. In the evening following supper there was the flag raising cere mony, then they gathered around the camp fire for stories, fun and music. Sunday morn ing the Scouts were in full dress for their flag raising. Follow ing breakfast they enjoyed more archery and an hour of horse back riding, handicraft, pictures All enjoyed much, espe- and nature study. very tne week en ciaiiy new friends. She is out of the oxy gen tent and is able to sit up a short time each day.
