Mrs. Joe Kvles was in Ashland on business Monday morning. Man Breaks Arm In Fall Sunday Mrs. Joe Leesley and children spent Sunday afternoon at the Emil Meisinger home. While there J. T. Leesley fell and broke the bone in his arm in two places. He was taken to St. Elizabeth hospital for X-ray and his arm placed in a cast. Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth O Rourke and daughter shopped in Lincoln Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. Claude Osburn and family were Sunday din ner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Ben ny Buckingham and Bradley. A. L. Todd visited at the Ches ter Todd home Sunday. He called at the Emil Meisinger home in the afternoon. Mrs Ted Johnson of Chey enne, Wyo.. and Mr. and Mrs. Jack Rairigh of Lincoln were Saturday guests at the E. L. McDonald home. Mrs. Mary Ziegenbein of Ash land called at the Emil Meising er home Monday afternoon. Pvt. Dean Schroeder of Fort Leonard Wood, Mo., spent Sat urday and Sunday with his par ents. Mrs. Johnny Gustafson and Johnny Ross and Mrs. Ross Casey visited Mrs. Mary John son in Omaha Monday. Mrs. John Meyers and Mrs. Henry Wright shopped in Lin coln Saturday. Greenwood Six-Month-Old Wins Contest Bobby Burbee, six month old snn of Mr. and Mrs. Wendell Burbee won first prize in a baby photo contest at Omaha. His photo will now be entered in the national contest. Grfnwooo Mr. and Mrs. Ben Howard called at the Emil Meisinger home Saturday evening. Mrs. A. J. Leadabrand and children left Monday morning for Penn Yan, New York, where they will visit Mrs. Leadabrands mother and sister.
