Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Juracek and family attended a family re union at Columbus Sunday at the Art Juracek home. All the bro thers were present. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Sparr at tended the 45th wedding anniver sary celebration in Meadow Grove Sanday for Mr. and Mrs. Byron Sparr. Mrs. Marvin Nelson and Mrs. Duard Dempster attended the County Extension May Tea in Elgin Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. Albert Steinke and Mabel Caubarrus were Sun day guests of Mrs. Alma Sch wager. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Sparrow attended the Musical Festival at Columbus Friday evening. The Rev. D. Lenz returned Monday from the Kearney hos pital, where he had major sur gery._ The Rebekahs will sponsor a Mother-Daughter Tea Saturday at 2 p. m. Stitch and Chatter club met with Mrs. Gerald Maple April 21, with 13 members and 1 visitor, Mrs. Wayne Faatz, present. A contest was given by Gladys Mardesen and won by Mrs. G. Maple. Mr. and Mrs. Leon Mitchell gave a birthday dinner Sunday honoring Susan Mitchell, and Claudia Mitchell. Those present were Mrs. Susan Mitchell and Theron, Mr, and Mrs. Donald Parkhurst and family, Mr. and Mrs. George Bonge, Bill and Newell Mitchell and Mr. and Mrs. Don Rabe and family of Madi son.
