The ladies are very grateful for the patronage given them. Mr. and Mrs. Art Cow-perthwaite, Mrs. George Miles, Mrs, C. J. Malone and Mrs. L. A, Carter, of O'Neill, were here Saturday even ing attending the M. E. bazaar. Mrs. E. L. Spann, of Atkinson, waa here Sunday visiting her grandmo ther, Mrs. Mary Hancock i Several Inman people attended foeeral services for Mrs. Herman Rakow at Pege Monday afternoon. Word was received Monday morning of the death of Mrs. E, H. Maxcy' at Bayard, Nebr. Rev. and Mrs. Maxcy had gone to Bay ard two weeks ago for Mrs. Max cy’» health and apparently she was improving. Rev. Maxcy had re turned to Inman Saturday to hol< services at the M. E. church bu was called back to Bayard Saturday evening. Mrs. Maxcy passed quiet ly away Sunday evening. Funera services will be held on Thursda; at Lincoln. Mr. and Mrs. John Conard. an< daughter, Mary Lou, and Misi Helen Anspach, of Emmet, am Mr. and Mrs. Hardin Anspach am children, of Jnman, were Sundaj dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Johr Anspach. Mrs. L. R. Tompkins is .spending this week in Norfolk with her par ents, Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Doughtj and other relatives. PLEASANT DALE Mrs. Ed Heeb and Edna called at the Gerald Miles home in O’Neill Tuesday to see Miss Helen Murphy, who has been ill for some time. Mr. and Mrs. William Schmohr son and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Lorenz and son and Mrs. Wm. Ernst and daughter spent Saturday evening at the Guy Beckwith home. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Wagman and Family and Mr. and Mrs. Henry Shaaf, of Atkinson, were Sunday visitors at the Joe Winkler home. A Christmas program and pie social will be given at the Pleasant Dale school Friday evening, De cember 18. Three Harshberger boys, of Hum bolt, Nebr., are visiting their aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. John Kee. Mr. and Mrs. Verne Beckwith and daughter were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Gus Segar Sun day. The pupils of school district’s No. 11)2 and G7 gave a very inter esting program Friday evening,; December 11, followed by a box 1 social.
