Why Garments
Fade
The garment manufacturer is
more interested in the relative
degree of fastness of colors
than anything else. At all
times there are on the market
dyes that differ in their prop
erties of resisting light, wash
ing, perspiration, etc.
Therefore, the dyer must,
make his selection so that the
resulting color will retain its
greneral tone until thi garment
will no longer be wearable.
If a dyer uses three dyes to
produce a desired shade and
one of them, which is neces
sary to that shade, cannot be
produced as a fast color dye
by anyone, this one dye will
soon begin to fade and the
original tone of the garment
will vanish.
Popular demand determines
the exact shades to be worn
each season, and the dyer
must obey the mandate of
fashion.

Come to Our Recital Rooms and Hear the
Wonderful Synchrona Reproducing Pianos
Are You Studying Voice?
For those who are studying to become singers and who
are training their voices, the Synchrona Reproducing
Piano is proving of great aid. Many singers find it
essential that the accompaniment be under their control
and it is here that the Synchrona and its perfection
are of great use.
Each Synchrona is equipped with the "Accompano," a
small attachment which can be held in the hand and
used to regulate the tone and metre of -the piece being
played.
The Synchrona is in both Grand and Upright form and
. 'may be had with the Schomacker, Emerson or Lindeman
& Sons Pianos. , Your present piano accepted as part
payment; convenient terms arranged on the balance if
desired. -
Come to our attractive recital rooms and hear- the
Synchrona reproduce your favorite music and note how
easy it is to regulate it tone and tempo with the "Ac
compano." We are exclusive representatives for the
Synchrona Reproducing Pianos. '
