all of them was stockers and feeders no
sales were reported. Receipts huvo been
a little heavier this week than last, but
lack of demand has been the main cause

The heaviest and plainest kinds showed
the greatest losses and are back to the
low point of the year. Sines beef started
breaking so sharply there lias been al

today and the trade was very uneven
ruling steady to 10 15c higher earlv and
closing at declines of 15j25o. The late
market was very dull and druggv. Good
light hogs sold to shipper., as high as
$9.359.60, the latter price being the
days' top. Bulk of receipts moved at
$8.008.73. Extra heavv hogs ranged
on clown the list to $7.0O&7.75. Com
pared with a week ago light hogs are
closing nt small declines with heavv
grades 2,",50i' lower. Average, trade is
not far from SOW 35c lower for the week.
Sheep and Lambs No sheep or lambs
were received today and the trade was
nominal. The market th'.s week has been
featured by a little stronger tendency on
light lambs with heavy grades closing
25'59c lower. Fat sheep are about 25c
higher for tlio week. Rest fat lambs
are now selling- at $9.10-9.45 with shorn
inmos up to $s.35. Heavv lambs an;

this week reached $6.50. paid vesterdav.
Prices for feeding and shearing 'stuck re
