Weisman at the home of her mother, Mrs. D. Bernstein, Rabi Schatz officiating. Only immediate relatives at tended the wedding. Little Bertha Tuchman, niece of the groom, car ried the ring in a tiny golden basket of roses. The bride wore a white satin and georgette gown, embroidered in sil ver, her tulle veil in cap effect, reaching the hem of the gown. She carried a shower bouquet dfbride's roses and lilies of the valley, her only ornament being a platinum wrist watch, gift of the groom. Mr. and Mrs. Weisman are now on their honeymoon through .the south and will be at the home of 'lie bride's mother after July 1. Swoboda-Skupa. Miss Marie Skupa and William L, Swoboda were married at the bride's home Wednesday afternoon by Rev. A. K. Walborn, pastor of St. Lukes Lutheran church. The attendants were Miss Emma Vonasek and Thomas Jaros. ' ' For Miss Newbranch. , Miss Ruby Klingbeil will enter tain at a bridge luncheon at her home Saturday in honor of Miss Katherine Newbranch, whose en gagement to Howard Douglas was recently announced. The Omaha Teeanbee Five-A-Day club, which is composed of the sales force of the Remington Typewriter company of Omaha, will hold its first summer picnic at Carter Lake ; club Saturday, June 5. . Canteen Meeting. Company B of the Canteen will meet Tuesday afternoon at the home of Mrs. O. C. Redick. Field Club. E. M. Slater entertained 42 guests at dinner at the Field club Saturday evening. R. Hutchison an nounce the birth of a daughter on Sunday at the Stewart hospital. A daughter was born Sunday at the Stewart hospital to Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Crouch. , A daughter was born to Mr. and Mrs. Paul Buff Sunday at the Stew art hospital. , Mr. and Mrs. T. R. O'Neal an nounce the birth of a daughter at the Stewart hospital Sunday. A. son was born Tuesday at the Stewart hospital to Mr. and Mrs. C. R. McFarland. M. D. Cameron is ill at his home. Miss Katherine Reynolds will re turn home Saturday from Lincoln, Clubdom Chautauqua Circle Organised. At a meeting Wednesday afternoon at the home of Mrs. Helen K. Mor ton, 1003 North Forty-ninth street, a new chautauqua circle for Omaha was organized with IS women pres ent Ten more had signified their interest in the new circle, so the work will be begun October 1 with 25 members. The name will be "Dundee Chautauqua Circle." Mrs. W. B. Howard presided Wednes day. Officers were not elected. On June 12 at the home of Mrs. W. B. Howard a new League of the Round Table will be organized. It will be called the Beta chapter, Alpha chapter already being in ex istence. Most of the members of Beta chapter will be graduates of the Tennyson circle. There are now in Omaha six chautauqua circles, one league of the round table and oYie round table circle. Business Women's League. Rev. C. E. Cobbey of the First Christian church spoke before the Business Women's league at the Loyal hotel Wednesday evening. He gave many interesting ac counts from personal observation of important work done by European women during the war. Rev. Mr. Cobbey stated that the answer to all economic problems today is "more religion in business." Mr. J. L. Ferciot of the Western Union Telegraph company gave a where she has been attending the University of Nebraska. She will spend the summer with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. M. Reynolds. Mr. and Mrs. H. L. Scott an nounce the birth of a son at the Stewart hospital Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs. George L. Barney of San Diego, Cal., are visiting Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Williams. Mrs. C C.
