It was a tedious grind for the heroes, of 1he mat. Bathed in perspiration, they moved back into the hotel, shed their clothes and sprawled on one poor bed in Stanislaus' room. "We just had a fine workout," commented Stanislaus, the elder brother to a reporter. "We walked clear to Twenty-fourth street." You d hardly call that a work out, ventured Mr. Reporter. Why didn t you walk to .Florence? "Ah-h-h-h! Twenty-fourth street is a long way oft when tie wind is blowing," laughed the Polander. March zephyrs were "wafting around downtown corners at a 60 mile rate Monday. Stanislaus is touted by many wrestling fans as the greatest man in the game today. Monday night he dumped Gus Kervaras, Greek champion, twice in an hour and a quarter in Council Bluffs. Wladek is a mat artist of some note, hut can't be compared with his elder brother. Wladek is 25 years old; Stanislaus, 39. Wladek carries a cane, shaves twice daily and wears silks, where Stanislaus wears heavy woolens, or dinary clothing and doesn't know what a cane is for. The parents of the Zzyszko broth ers were not unusually large in stature. The brothers attribute their size and strength to living outdoors a great deal. Freshmen Girls Win.
