The flesh, retailed at 60 cents a pound, is declared highly nourishing. The "devil fish" as displayed in the windows is a queer looking globular mass of a lilac or pale purple color. To show the public ft is real octo pus the suckers are left in full view. Stewed, fried and pickled octopus is on sale at delicatessen stores. The octopus is caught on the shores of the Mediterranean. The "devil fish" is hunted with spear and net.
