Real love comes with the first heart throb to the expectant mother, and when the wee bit of life comes to the world, and the young mother takes it in her arms and to her bosom, then it is the full blossom of love. The years glide by and more and more the fingers clutch the heart and more and more they grow as one. Young manhood is reached and the mother is called to prove an alibi. She does it before God and man, but alas, she has purged her soul. That is love. No. 204. "Papa, what is love?" asked a little boy of 10, after seeing the question in The Bee. "That my boy can be better dem onstrated than described," said the father, "come with me." He led the boy to the village blacksmith and found that worthy being engaged in welding two chains that lay at his feet. Taking a link identical with the rest, he gathered the two ends of the chains together and with it welded them into one. "Now son," said the father, do you see the answer to your ques tion? . "I do," replied the boy. "Love is the connecting link that binds two hearts together." No. 206. Love is just a cobweb wet with morning dew; Love is just a fairy spell invisible to view A tread a touch too heavy, and the cobweb is not there, A sigh too long and lot The spell has vanished into airl Love is just a morning-glory, doom ed at noon to die, Love is only half a story told in the oassing bv: Love is gold so delicate the faintest flame would melt it; Love is nothing; but God help the man who s never known or telt itl Author Unknown. No. 209. Some sav love is a light, foolish and slight thing, but it is not; they know not of what they speak. Love is a yearning, a burning and a lot of heart throbs. Some cases are just ?. hug and a kiss, while others leave an impres sion to the one in love so greatly that it is not easily mended. If one of the opposite sex meet and there is a smile, a kiss and a tender word said, some call that love. No, that isn't love, because if one person sees another the same in 100 ways and looks they will soon forget the first one. If you are in doubt whether you like a person, then be sure that sometimes isn't love. If love is not returned, then trust to God that if that person was mat ed for you he will come. "As you all know, everyone was mated for someone." But the pure and true love is God. No. 227. Love is a feeling which comes from the very heart aht' soul. Love is a feeling that can't very well be expressed in words; it can only be expressed by acts of kindness and sympathy; when one loves they will sacrifice their life for the one loved and do all in their power to make them comfortable and happy and take pleasure in so doing. True love s trust, and overlooks all er rors and faults. Only possessors of real love know its value, pleasure and happiness; if there were more true love there would be less evil and more Christians today. No. 233. Love is life, When man was created God, who is Lcve, "breathed into his nostrils the breath of life" (Bible). Wothout love life would be simply vegetation. Love is that which binds the three units of the family father, mother and children into a perfect triune as complete and inseperable as the cloverleaf or "shamrock." . (St. Patrick). We be- TC DAY'S BEAUTY KINT It is not necessary to shampoo your hair so frequently if it is en tirely and properly cleansed each time by the use of a really good shampoo. The easiest to use and quickest drying shampoo that we can recommend to our readers is one, that brings out all the natural beauty of the hair and may be en joyed at very little expense, by dis solving a teaspoonful of canthrox which can be obtained from any druggist, in 8 cup of hot water. This makes a full cup of shampoo liquid, enough so it is easy to apply it to all the hair instead of just to the top of the head. This, when rubbed into the scalp and onto every strand of hair, chemically dissolves all impurities. It is very soothing and cooling in its action, as well as beneficial to both scalp and hair. After rinsing out the lather so cre ated, you will find the scalp is fresh, clean and free from dandruff, while the hair dries quickly and evenly, developing a bright luster and a soft fluffiness that makes it seem very heavy.
