SHEEP Tha week opened out with a
recent suppl" of sheep and lambs on

10.800 head allowing up. This Is mors
than 4.800 smaller than last week and a
falling off of over 1,000 head as com-pai-ed
with a year ago. but Is larger
than two weeks ago by 3.800 head.
Buyers made an effort to buy lambs
st a 2fto lower cost this morning, but
as the lamb end of the eupply was mod
erate failed to get away with It, and
after dickering around for the best part
of the forenoon finally paid generally
steady prices for the bulk of ths offer
ings. In fact some buyers claimed lhat
ronalderlng the slight wetness of fleeces
actual cost waa higher, but moat trad
ers quotes the market aa unchanged.
The 111.10 top on Msxlosns which sellers
were unwilling to quote at Inst week's
clnas was established today, three losda
of good lightweight lainba bringing ths
fries. Other desirable, Mexlrana sold at
11.00, while bulk of the weaterna sold
st 810.78010.80. A four-car string of
weighty shearing lambs waa cashed early
In the forenoon st 110.68,
More ewes were on sals than for a

proved to be nroaa. nowever, ana a gooo
msnv ewes had been sold by a reaeon
