than 4.800 smaller than last week and a
falling off of over 1,000 head as com-pai-ed

Buyers made an effort to buy lambs

as the lamb end of the eupply was mod
erate failed to get away with It, and
after dickering around for the best part
of the forenoon finally paid generally
steady prices for the bulk of ths offer
ings. In fact some buyers claimed lhat
ronalderlng the slight wetness of fleeces
actual cost waa higher, but moat trad
ers quotes the market aa unchanged.
