In certain lines and sections of the country the volume of trado Is ex pandlng, with gains recorded over last ,ear In some Instances. Lower temperature throughout a con slderablo area have had the otfect of stimulating tho demand for seasonable merchandise and It la significant that prompt deliveries ana strongly urged, thus emphasising tho depleted .condition ot wholesale and retail stocks.
