"Wood of the BiarbanK Royal Walnut
This is q direct color photograph reproduction of a
specimen of wood from Luther DurbsnK's fast growing Royal
walnut. It resembles tropical mahogany in many ways, and is as
Kurd as the old-fashioned blach -walnut, but has u finer grain
and tahes a higher finish. This specimen was finished by
the Scholle Furniture Company, of Chicago, and owing
to the scarcity of the old-fashioned blach walnut,
such wood as this is worth from $200 to $700
per thousand feet, board measure.
