heaviness of receipts at the leading pri
mary renters carried the wheat market
today down grade. The close was totlitc
lower than Saturday night.
The decline in wheat fololwed an early
advance caused by strength at Liverpool,
tbe result of the Increased labor troubles
In Argentina. Commission houses here
quickly took advantage of the bulge and
began selling, which gradually took the
edge off the market. Lack of cash de
mand made tbe altuatlon worse for the
bulls and there was further discourage
ment In tbe absence of any Immediate
prospect of good slsed exports from the
United States to the countries across the
Atlantic. World'a shipments, too, proved
larger than expected and the decline
In the domestic visible waa relatively
small. The close waa easy, not far from
the lowest figures of the dey. May ranged
from tLWeel.teH to tl.iMS. with last

Good weather and big receipts were
responsible for the backset in the price
