Isaac E. Cordon is a candidate bef ere the coming primary to succeed himself
as Republican Member of the Water Board.
Mr. Congdcn is an able attorney, and a man of the highest character and integ
rity. He was appointed by Governor Mickey, when the Water Board was organized,
because of his character as a citiien and his fitness for the position, and he has
selred the City f aithfnUy and efficiently.
The City is now acquiring the Water Plant and is in the midst of complicated
litigation inrolTing $5,250,000, hence it is of the utmost importance to every citiien
that the interest cf the City be honestly and efficiently conserved.
For the above reasons, and without disparaging any other candidate, we urge
every Republican voter to support Mr. Congdon's candidacy, as his familiarity with
the Water Question, and his fitness for the office, makes him the logical and best
equipped candidate before the Republican Primary.
