repair and maintain for and during the
term of twentv-Qve years, lines of con
duits, wires and conductors, together with

their demand on a message rat basis, not
to exceed the following rates:

For each out going city call, 8 cents.

ervloe, U cent per month.
For each outgoing city call, I oent.
Th said grantees shall at no tlm charge
more than 8 cent for any single messag
from any publlo pay station to any other
telephone of said company within tb cities
Of Omaha and South Omaha.
By th acceptance of this ordinance, th
aid grantee agree and hind itself, Ita
successors or assigns, to establish a tele
phone station or exchange In the City of
Bouth Omaha, Nebraska, and to Install
In said City of Bouth Omaha, a fitst-claa
telephone system and to furnish to their
le It phon subscribers In tb City of
Omaha telephone connection and service
with th telephone subscribers ot said
Bouth Omaha system, without toll or ex
change therefor of any kind. In addition
to the telephone rental fur . telephone
service In the City of Omaha, authorised
by this ordinance to b charged.
It shall be the duty of said grantee. Its
successors or assigns, -eubject to th term
and conditions of this ordlnancs, to connect
the line or line with the lines of any
Independent Company, which shall extend

th limit of Uie City of Omaha and de
mand such connection, and pay th reason
able cost thereof, and to furnish said con
nection to aald companies upon raasonabla
term; and also to furnish to it sub
scriber long distance connection with said

subscribers shall not be cnarged mor for
connection beyond th City of Omaha than
is charged by other independent systems
for like service for like distance.
Sec 4. The said grantea, It successors
or assigns, by th acceptance of this ordU
nance, agrees to build, luy, maintain and
operate an efficient telephone system and
exchange In Omaha. Nebraska, th switch
board, conduits and poles to be ot suffi
cient slse, capacity and number to ulti
mately supply telephoues and telephone
service to fifteen thousand (16,(M) sub
scribers, which system as above described
shall bs completed within two years after
the acceptance of this ordinance, provided
