T. F. Stroud & Co., manufacturers of
scraper and other grading tools, will eect
a new factory which will double the present
output of the firm. This fact was an
nouneed by Mr. Stroud Saturday.
Stroud & Co. have completed a deal with
F. D. Wead whereby they gain possession
of several acres of land north of the Belt
Line between Commercial avenue ' and
Twentieth street. Deeds are In escrow ln
the hands of Mr. Wead and tvu has been
deposited to bind the deal. The land was
bought for a factory site.
Tentative pluns are for a structure 580x138
feet. The number of stories ha not been
determined on. Mr. Stroud slated that
plans would be drawn and I e would be
ready to commence work as soon as ha
had gained complete possession of th
property. He hoped to finish the new fac
tory this fall. It will double tin output
