Constitution of the State of Nebraska , as
hereinafter sol forth In full , nre submitted
to the electors of the Stnte of Nebraska , to
ho voted upon nt the general flection to ho

A joint resolution proposing tu amend

article six ( C ) of the Constitution of the
Stnto of Nebraska , relating to number of

of olllce.
Ho It resolved and enacted by the I.eRls-
Inturc of the State of Nebraska :
Section 1. That section two (2) ) of article
six ( C ) of the Constitution of the State of
Nebraska be amended so IIH to read as fol-
Scc'tlon 2. The supreme court shall until
otherwise provided by law , consist of live
(5) ( ) Judges , a majority of xvhom shall bo
necessary to form a quorum or to pro
nounce n decision. U shall have original
Jurl.idlctlon In cases relatlm : lo revenue ,
civil cases In which the stale shall be a
parly , mandamus , quo ivarrnnto , habeas
corpus , and such appellate Jurisdiction , as
may ho provided by law.
Section 2. That section four (4) ( ) of article

lows :
Section 4. The Judges of the supreme
court shall be elected by the electors of
the state nt large , nnd their term of olllce ,
except as hereinafter provided , shall be for
a period of not less than flvo (5) ( ) years as
the legislature may prescribe.

six ( C ) of the Constlltillon of the Stnte of
Nebraska , be amended to read as follows :
