On that day while he was wheeling away a
loan of hams , ho stepped upon n loose plank

bruising and crippling him for life.

Ono of the cases against Arthur Pulaskl ,
chargine him with not having toted fair
with the city in tno matter of slaughtering
dogs , went out of the court in a hurry yester
day afternoon. The evluenco was in when
Pulaski's attorney movoa for dismissal on
the grounds that the testimony did not sub
stantiate the charge in the indictment. Judco
Davis sustained the motion and ordered the
jury to rewrn a verdict of not cuilty.
Another jury was at once empanelled and
Pulnsui was placed on trial again to answer
to another of the Indictments , of which there
are four.
