For chickens there is little or no demand nnd prices rule very low , Turkeys are still strong nnd were selling to-day from 12@13 cents per pound , There are very few turkoyu in the market , the Christmas trade having exhausted the supply. Dealers are not looking for any decline in the price of turkeys and some of them say that they think it will bo difficult to find turkeys enough to supply the New Year's trade. The apple market Is firm and prices have advanced slightly. Good stock Is quoted nt # 2 75@3 25 per barrel.
