Readers of the Observer may have
noticed that poetry of a certain sort
very rarely finds place in its columns.
Wo moan varies whoso sentiment
tends to the discouragement of matri
mony. Tno poets openly deride the
holy calm and satisfaction which
creeps Into married Ufa after the
tumultuous fevers of youth and honey
moon are over. They distinctly assert
than an humble lever becomes a brntal
husband , and an amiable mlstrosa a

trous and pleasing play upon words as
to compel us to read :
"You will find , my dear boy , that the dear

Is sweeter by far than the legalized kisses
You give the same girl when you've made

Mr. D. says : "For many yeais I have
suffered , intensely at times , with what Is
generally called rheumatism. When first
attacked I was confined to my bed and
could not walk a step , I could not bear
the weight of the bedclothes , eo excrucia
ting wai the agony I endured. I always
noticed that before these uttacks came on
my kidneys were nffectod ; before there
would bo any pain iu my limbs or any
swelling of joints or llnibi , the color ot the
secretions from the kidneys would be very
dark and the odor strong atidfoverfoh. The
1 st attack wns very severe , about D years
ago , and I was confined to the house sever
al weeks , nnd was unable to attend
to bnelnnns In three month * During
the time I was confined at homo anil the
time of my oonvalenence I employed four
of the best d > ctora I rould obtain , but none
ot them giwa me permanent relief , for they
did not go to work at tbo cause of the
trouble. Jinving been acquainted with the
proprietor of Hunt's Remedy a long time
I wai induced by him to give It a trial ,
hoping that it might reach the seat of the
disease ; and after takirg one bottle I found
myself very much improve' , nnd after tak
ing the second I was feeling better than I
had after any previous attacks , During
many months previous to taking the Rem
edy my hands and fingers would be much
swollen and stiff e\ery morning ; my left
side , iu the region of stomach and spleen ,
was very lame and sensitive ; at times I
would ho taken with cevere cramps over
the spleen , and he obliged to apply mu-
tard orcayennb for temporary relief ; I was
very nervous nights and could not sleep ; I
wag obliged to be very particulor In my
diet , nnd ray rhysictl sjstem was sadly
demorullzed , SInca I have taken Hunt's
Remedy systematically all these things
ha\e changed ; I have LO swollen bunds or
limb ? , uo pains or crampa in the side , can
eat all kinds of food , sleep soundly and get
thoroughly rested , and my kidneys are ac
tlve and perform their functions promptly ,
thus taking out of the system all the pots
cmous secretions which contaminate the
whole system where the kidneys do not act
efficiently. My friend" , what Hunt's Kern-
eiy ha * done for me it will do for all of
jou. I believe It to bp the only euro cure
