characteristics of to-day's stock market.
The not result of business , however , has
been a decline nf only a fraction on the
general Hat M compared with last night ,
except in the case of Union Pacific , but
the general market closed weak ut about
tha lowest prices of the day. The mott
active stocks in final dealings were Union
Pacific , St. Paul nnd Northwestern.
The Post eft/a Uulou Pacific has been
the leading cause of the general uniettle-
( mint and decline of tha market.
