■pet Sematary’ is worse than getting a measles shot B>£T from Page 6 __ ■CdTchddren comes back from HhP dead possessed, Rachel’s sister Knes back from the dead possessed; K whole movie is possessed. I Scheduled our exorcism for next H^’r. i don’t want to hear about Sour Catholic guilt, Lisa. Whall want H)complain about is Stephen King’s Hamco appearance as a minister. As Sou said so nicely, who docs he think m ul .^,fred Hitchcock? Okay maybe his profile’s better looking but come on. Self-indulgence really makes me ill. 3 LD. \vhat the hell do you think SliSTS7 Anyway’ no Hitchcock. Not even close. Hitch cock inspires creativity; he makes you want to say “shoot, I wish I would have thought of that.’’ But Pet Sanatory’’ makes me say, shoot, I wish I hadn’t paid to see this. WR: “Pet Sematary” has the obligatory number of chills and spills designed to make the people behind you scream. It’s got plenty of gore. I mean, repeated close-ups of some one’s crushed head after being hit by a truck really helped me swallow my buttered popcorn. LD: Geez, how could I forget the ghost of Christmas future. He’s so hysterical. The ghost was Rachel and Louis conscience, but only Louis could see it. The ghost warns about ■■■■■■■■■■■ the evils of the cemetery as well as how to take care of your possessed love ones. WR: People who love Stephen King are going to love “Pet Sema tary,” Normally, King novels seem extremely stupid on screen, but this manages to follow the book and en tertain us, if the people behind us were any guide. It’s gross, it’s creepy, and I’ll admit it — it scared me. And the last thing that really scared me was when I ate too many Sugar Ba bies and thought I wouldn’t have a bowel movement ever again. LD: Now that’s gross. I remember once when . . . never mind. This movie review is like the movie, sorry William, it’s going nowhere fast. WR: Picky, picky. You can’t have everything, Lisa. Okay, so it wasn’t good. But what do you want? LD: Shut up! Everyone -- don’t sec the movie, go and get a measles shot -- it’s less painful than “Pet Sematary.” II SALE__ mondale Racing BAe, Shimano 105. index shift £ OBO.
