like plain hamburgers and ones
without onions. Remember, at
Burger King you can have it
done your way.
About the elevator ... it was
big, stainless steel and waiting
for us. We looked at it. It looked
at us. We looked at it again.
Visions of Glenn Close and Mi
chael Douglas came into our
minds and we fled for the near
est stairs.
The stairs... w ide, relentless,
up. We cautiously started our
way toward the top. What’s
behind door number one? Be
fore we had the chance to find
out we heard footsteps.
EEEEEEHEHEEF.KKKKKK! I lor

before that mass murderer (or in
this case, the custodial staff)
catches up with you.
Vie wound up in me i niver

horror story in itself. Scary thing

thing number tsvo: the health

store. Imposter perfumes sit on
the shelves next to shoe polish.
But the worst ssas set to come
The condom display. I o the left
were Band Aids. To the right
were Bianca Blast, tooth

And below , were \ aseline, K-Y
jells and suntan lotion. Does this
mean something?

rooms are exjx nemes not to be
missed. Kind of like a high
school loc ker room in miniature,
these babies have stalls w ilh full
length doors, lockers, benches,
a shower stall and even the
musty whilf of left os er sweat.
Part two of the game room from
the main level is ».o[ nered on the

And through the doorway is
the union pool hull cleaner
than most, a pleasant atmos
phere to be sure. In addition to
pool, there are other escapes
from all the intellectually stimu
lating activity students encoun
ter such as checkers As w ith the
other televisions on campus,
one can catch up on their talk
shows.
To the opposite extreme is
the highest point in the union:
two meeting rooms on the
fourth floor — yes, there is a
fourth. Through two doorways
on the third floor - one next to
the dental hygiene club - one
can venture up to the clouds.
They’re just rooms. You can see
a lot of Lincoln from the dormer
windows up there, but not as
good as you can from the Ne
braska Capitol.
Thus ends the lour of the
underside - with a little on lop
of the union Feel free to explore
and learn, that’s w hat we’re here
for.
