Even though the Nebraska women's
softball team is ranked No. 3 in the
country, opposing teams are not willing
to give up against the Nebraska women's
softball team, Coach Ron Wolforth said.
As a result, the Comhuskers were
beaten twice on Sunday, one each by
Oklahoma, 3-1, and Oklahoma State,
2-0, to finish the Big Eight Round-Robin
Tournament in Stillwater, Okla. One
Saturday, the Huskers defeated the
Sooners 3-0 and the Cowgirls 1-0 to earn

"I was very disappointed in our
effort," Wolforth said. "For the first
time all year, we didn't give a good
effort. I think we are the most talented
team in the Big Eight, so I think we will
be fine during the rest of the season.
But we didn't seem to have very much
