Even though the Nebraska women's
softball team is ranked No. 3 in the
country, opposing teams are not willing
to give up against the Nebraska women's
softball team, Coach Ron Wolforth said.
As a result, the Comhuskers were
beaten twice on Sunday, one each by
Oklahoma, 3-1, and Oklahoma State,
2-0, to finish the Big Eight Round-Robin
Tournament in Stillwater, Okla. One
Saturday, the Huskers defeated the

play.
"I was very disappointed in our
effort," Wolforth said. "For the first
time all year, we didn't give a good
effort. I think we are the most talented

three pitchers did a good job. We have a
tendency to let down at the plate
because of our pitching. We think we
only need one or two runs to win. When
we have lost, we just didn't score any

really good.

Wolforth said pitching is Huskers' i
