fame.
To "Break Out" fans, this album will
be a safe record purchase. But for those
who were skeptical about the Pointer
Sisters before, I don't see this album
changing their opinion much.
It's all very danceable and without a
doubt will be a God-send to those frus

a male vocalist sang the lead. But it was

If you want to buy an album to
"groove to" and put you in a seductive
frame of mind, this album is for you. It's
not what you'd call an original approach
for the Pointer Sisters, but because of
their incredible success with "Break
Out," I suspect their strategy is to keep
that ball rolling.
If you buy albums only to be inspired
by deep lyrical content, I suggest you
save your money and pass on this one.
The lyrics are redundant at times.
Most songs have an aggressive woman's
love-conquest theme. For example: "if
you wanna hold itif you wanna
show itcome and let me know
ittwist my arm.
"I need a little lovintonight
C'mon rock me, don't let goI
don't wanna be alone. "These lyr
ics won't bring any tears of inspiration
from me.
The album, however, is very well pro
duced and it should be another com
mercial success for the Pointer Sisters.
