Well, Stacy Mor gan, information officer at the Miami Tourist Office, said Miami beaches, most open to the' public, are a sure cure to whatever ails you. If a tourist gets tired of lounging around on the beaches (heaven for bid), they can venture a peek at some of Miami's animal and historical exhibits. The Seaquarium features various marine animals like whales, sea lions and dolphins. Visits cost $7 for adults, and $3.50 for children. The Parrot Jungle contains thou sands of birds besides parrots. Fla mingos, cockatoos and parrots per form tricks and pose for pictures with tourists. The Jungle also features land scaped gardens. The cost is $6 for adults, $3 for children. Not your typical zoo, the Metro, which was built two years ago, has animals which are not in cages, but separated from zoo visitors by moats, much like the San Diego Zoo. The zoo is home for the rare white tiger and has bird shows that feature hawks retriev ing items from their trainer. Tourists can either ride the monorail train through the zoo or walk. The cost is $ 1.50 for adults, $2.C0 for children. The Coral Castle, which costs $4 for adults to view and $1 for children, is a structure built entirely out of coral Fairchild Tropical Garden is the larg est tropical garden in the United States. The cost is $3 for adults, children under 13 are admitted free. The Miccosukee Indian Festival will be Dec. 26 through Jan. 1. It features different arts and crafts, alligator wres tling and ethnic Indian foods. The Mic cosukee was one of the first tribes to settle in the Miami area. Vizcaya is an Italian-style villa which was built when Miami was established. It features antique furnishings and art collections. The cost is $4.50 for adults. Children under 6 are admitted for $2.50. Other attractions are the Monkey Jungle; the International Orchid Jun gle; the Planet Ocean, with marine exhibits; and the Serpentarium, with snakes, alligators, turtles, lizards and a demonstration on how to extract snake venom. Miami also boasts the Spanish Mon astery, the oldest standing structure of its kind in the Western Hemisphere. Built in Spain during the 1400s, the monastery was brought to America and reconstructed in the 1950s by Randolph Hearst. Tourists also can visit the Venetian Pool, a swimming hole with real spring water.
