The National Society to Prevent Blind ness wants people to know that many of the leading causes of blindness have no noticeable symptoms, that there are causes of blindness other than birth defects, and that many causes can be treated successfully. As the kickoff celebration of the 75th anniversary of NSPB, Gov. Bob Kerrey proclaimed September as Sight Saving Month in Nebraska. Each Wednesday there will be a Prevent Blindness Fair during the noon hour at the Lincoln Foundation Gardens, 14th and N streets.
