The executive branch includes the ASUN president, the first vice president and the second vice president, all elected by popular vote. The election commissioner and cabinet members are appointed by the president. The ASUN Senate is composed of 35 representa tives elected by students. Representation is based proportionally on college enrollment figures. The senate serves as a liaison between faculty, admin istration and the student body. There are also action committees, made up of senators; such as Academic Policy, Budget and Fees, Campus Life and Special Topics. Standing committees such as Constitution, Fees Allocation and Internal Affairs are comprised of ASUN senators and students either at large or appointed by the Speaker of the Senate and president. f serves trnmemm When there is an opening on a committee, it is advertised in the Daily Nebraskan for at least t wo days, Wallace said. The health center offers a variety of health services to students enrolled for four credit hours or more during the semester. The health center is open weekdays and Saturday mornings. If a. health problem does not require immediate attention, appointments at the clinic should be made at least one day in advance. A health professional also maintains a regular schedule at the East Campus Health Resource Center in the East Union. A health professional is on duty at the City Campus Health Center after hours and a doctor also is on call. Students requiring after-hours treatment can call the center or go to the center's entrance There is no charge to see a doctor during clinic hours.
