Margaret Eager said students eligible for Health Center services who are at least 15 percent over their ideal weight can join a group. Two groups of 20 people will meet weekly for 10 weeks, Eager said. One group will meet from 4:00 to 5:00 pjn. on Mondays, and the other from 4:00 to 5:00 pjn. on Tuesdays. The groups will begin meeting on Sept. 29 and 30. Each group member will meet with a dietitian to work out an individualized diet, Eager said. According to Eager, topics such as exercise, fast foods and fad diets will be discussed at the weekly sessions. "We try to encourage an overall healthy lifestyle, as opposed to just losing weight, Eager said. To register for a group, students should call the health center and set up an appointment for a weight group physical, Eager said.
