After much 'discussion on the ASUN

which is the full amount ASUN requested.
The committee broke Dunbar's motion
down, to a $4,400 allocation for executive
salaries, including SI ,600 allocation for the
president's salary and $1,400 for each vice
president's salary. This portion of the

allocation to the president and $800 salary
allocations to each of the vice presidents by
a 74 vote, along with approval of the re

ASUN and gave the requested amount of
$39,502.
After discussion of Daily Nebraskan
staff parties and salaries, Yapp moved to
allocate $37,000 to the Daily Nebraskan

to be used for food or staff parties. This
represented a $2,241 cut from the Daily

said more salary discussion was needed,
and that the committee needed to make "a
clear-cut statement . on what salaries are to

The $20,000 allocation is an increase of
$5,000 over the amount earlier suggested
for Cultural Affairs.
