Kansas State game Oct. 14.
Pops concert
Mike Meyer, co-chairman
of the committee, said the
Lincoln City Symphony will
perform a pops concert the

UPC attempted to
schedule a concert at the
Sports Complex but was un
able to And a group touring
during the week of home
coming, said Ron Dalhke,
committee representative
from CAP-City.
Dalhke said the attempt
to attract a major group like
the Eagles, Bee Gees or
Linda Ronstadt failed
because the matter was out
of the control of UPC and
"in control of the groups
touring."
Meyer said an ehtnic fes

ethnic groups will have
booths set up, and there will

be tills year with one major
change. This year there will
be individual chapter
displays, instead of two
chapters joining to make
one display, according to
Mike Mullally, Interfrater

resentative. The individual chapter
displays will provide for
more displays, Mullally said.
Some chapters already had
agreed to work together
on displays, but these dis
plays will not be judged.
There also will be a con
test for dorm floor displays
on both campuses, Mullally
said. A certificate will be
awarded for the best display
in each dorm,- and a plaque
presented for the best
display on campus.
Elect royalty
The election of home
coming royalty will be Oct.

Julie Romohr, Panhellenic
committee representative.
This year there will be
nine king and nine queen
finalists, three each repre

grade point average may
apply for homecoming
royalty, Meyer said. Appli
