Think selfishly about your
own career before you decide
on one with Du Font.
Be selfish. But be honest.
You've put in a lot of tough years
to get your ileprcc. Your allegiance
lies with a professional discipline.
W hy, then, must you decide now
to plight your trust to a company
for hie? Pont. Join a company
first. Uittlocsnt
advance you within that
prfiicssional uiscipl
wen, you re not
juarried to it.
Many have found career
enrichment at Du Pont. This comes
from being handed a ball and
being expected to run with it. From
working with top people, from
growing in u company where the
opportunities are always wide open
and the projects are often way out.
Many have found professional
fulfillment and have built a very full,
varied and happy life as "Du Pontcrs."
Others have found, after working
at Du Pont, that their professional
Interest lay in teaching, in further
study or in an industry that
oUcrcd even wider scope in their
particular discipline. All of these
men left Du Pont far better qualified
professionally than when they came.
So talk to the Du Pont recruiter.
If be oilers you something, think
of it us a professional challenge, not
a proposal of marriage.

The former prime minister of
Northern Ireland, Captain
Terence O'Neill, will speak at
the East Campus Student Union
Wednesday at 2 p.m.
O'Neill served as prime
minister of Northern Ireland
for six years before retiring in
April, 1969. During his years in
office he pressed for reforms to
relieve the grievances of
Northern Ireland's Catholic
minority.
The topic of O'Neill's speech
will be "Northern Ireland
Can There Be Peace?" His
speech will deal with the cur
rent trouble between the
Catholics and the Protestants,
the history of that province,
and the differences between
Northern and Southern Ireland.
The London D 'llv Teleraph
described O'Neill In April as
"the one politician willing to
lead this province (Northern
Ireland) of 1,500,000 people out
of the d:irk s'ndows of religious
strife into the bright new era
of improved community rela
tions." "He sought to do this with an
enlightened policv of modera
tion and conciliation, and a
programme of social and
political reform unprecedented
in Ulster's turbulent 48-year
history."
Despite h 1 s resignation,
O'Neill still remains a member
of the Northern Ireland House
of Commons. He h-'S served in
the government of the province
for over 20 years, with his first
post being parliamentary
secretary of the ministry of
health. He h is also served as
deputy speaker and a s
chairman of wavs and means,
miiiisler of Home Affairs, and
minister of Finance.
