The deadline for entries in
the campus billiards tourna
ment to be held in the Stu
dent Union is 5 p.m. Friday,
according to Ron Gould, Un
ion games chairman.
' The entry fee of 50 cents
may be' paid at the games
desk in the basement of the
Union, Gould said. y
; Each- house may enter as
many participants as desired.

national intercollegiate tour

The campus tourney is
slated for 2 p.m. Sunday and
will include competition in

Eight intramural basketball teams remained unbeaten
the first semester. (
Farm House-A, Alpha Gamma Sigma-A, Gus I, Seaton II,
Delta Tau Delta-B, Phi Delta Theta-B, Phi Delta Theta-C,
and Manatt-B have kept their records unblemished.
The top teams of each
league will begin eliminations
for the all-University cham
pionship in each of the three
divisions Tuesday. '
The "Corn Shucks" tourna
ment will be entered by all
teams failing to win a position
on the all-Uninversity tour
nament slate.

been chosen "Athletic Direct
or of the Year" by the
Rockne Club of Kansas City.
Awards will be made at a
testimonial dinner to be held
March 4 at Kansas City. Re
cipients of the awards are
chosen by a poll of sports
writers, newspapermen and
radio and television sports
casters, Dr. D. M. Nigro,
president, said.

Postponed
The campus table tennis
tournament scheduled to be
gin today has been post
poned, according to Ron
Gould, Student Union games
chairman.
Gould explained that the
tourney was postponed be
cause of the large number of
tournaments scheduled for
the Union this month. The
table tennis tournament will
be reset for some t i m e in
March.
All persons who have
