ja. The Irish will probably start
an all-veteran lineup with
Graney and McCarthy at for
wards, Tully in the pivot and
Crosby and Bradtke handling
the backcourt assignments.
Notre Dame uses a double
pivot offense with Tullv and
Granev Dlavine the kev ro'es.
Tully is a 6-7, 210-pound, jun

led the Irish in their R7-R2

stands 6-5 and tins the scales
at 225 pounds. . '
6-4 Average
The Notre Dame starting
lineup will average just un
der six ieei lour inches. In
addition to Tullv and Granev.
McCarthy is 6-3, Crosby is 6-4
and Bradtke is the short man
at 6-1.
Graney was the second
leading scorer for Notre
Dame 'ast year with a 10.3
average and Tully was fifth
with an 8.7 point average.
Graney led the team in re
bounds with 337 while Tully
was fourth with 131 as the
Irish finished last season a
12-13 record, identical to the
Huskers.
Nebraska coach Jerry Bush
will probably go along with
the same lineuo that started
'the last two games for the
Huskers. This wiU find AI
Maxey (6-3) and Jim Kowal-

Harry (6-6) at center with

As sure as little apples, Newton knew that what goes up must come down.
But when it comes down to a
really pleasurable filter ciga
rette, it's what goes up in front
of the filter, that isthat makes
the difference!
And there's where Winston
,had an inspired idea Filter
Blend 1 Winston specially selects
choice, mild tobaccos, then spe
cially processes them lor, filter
6moking. The result: Filter
Blend up front of a modern fil
ter. That's what makes Winston
a complete filter cigarette.
Filter-Blend also makes
Winston America's best-selling,
best-tasting filter cigarettcTake
