piay nost to a strong Notre
Dame team. Game time is

Western Illinois and then lost
to Michigan State 61-56 in an
overtime battle. Notre Dame
has won their last three
games against Wisconsin,
Northwestern and the Air

Jordan has seven returning
lettermen but lost the, top
scorer in Notre Dame history
from last year's team in Tom
Hawkins.- Hawkins scored
1,820 points in three seasons
and holds the single season
scoring mark of 730 points.

NOTRE DAME CENTER Mike Graney, 6-5, 225-pounder
led the Irish in rebounds last year with 337 and was the
second high scorer with a 10.3 point average. He teams
with John TuIIy, 6-7, in the Irish double pivot offense.
Graney scored 13 points in Notre Dame's 67-52 win over
the Air Force Academy Saturday night.
