meets are to be held January 12.

Trainer Paul Schneider of the
University of Nebraska brought
in the best defense of one-platoon
football in his annual injury
report.
In 1953 there were a total of
44 injuries ranging from ankle
sprains to contusions to sprained
fingers. In 1952 there were 65.
