POSTPONE STUDENT ELECTIONS ONE WEEK Will He Held February 20 Under Direction of Student Council. Election of the four class presi dents, three members of tho Student Publication Hoard, ami Ivy Day or ator, will bo held February 20, in stead of February 13, as previously anounced, according to a notice from the office of student activities Wednesday afternoon. Each of the three upper classes is represented on the Board by one member stu dent. Students may file at tho student activities office for these positions any time before Thursday, February 15. The general election will be un der the direction of jthq Student Council. The Ivy Day orator Is cnosen each year from the senior class to dclivei the address after the coronation of the Queen of the May. The members of the graduating class elect him to the position. Last year Kenneth Mi Candless delivered the Ivy Day oration. National Colored Sorority Installed Delta Sigma Theta, national sor ority for colored girls, installed a chapter at Nebraska which was sanc tioned by the committee on Student Organizations and Social Functions The charter members are: Dorothy Mae Nelson, Mabelle Scott, Sivilda Splcer, Blanche Shaklcford and Marie Evangeline Ferguson. Washington The senate fight over rivers and harbors item carrion in the annual army bill was reopened today by Senator Borah, republican. Idaho, who moved to reduce the item to 27,000,000 as originally recommend ed by the budget bureau.
