The Individual competitive drill will
Immedintely follow the "compet" by
companies. Two cadets chosen
through competition by the captain of
the company will represent the unit
in the individual ."compet." There
v ill be thirty-two representatives from
the TersTiins Killos. Prizes for the
company winners and the Individual
"compet" winners will be awarded by
Colonel Moses. After this the entire
regiment will pass in review with all
the majors and captains and their
sponsors in the reviewing stand.
The prizes for the competitive drill

pany. The first individual prize will
he a tie pin contributed ry 1 ucKee-
Shean. jewelers. The second prize
for the winner of the individual
compet" is a Gillette safety razor

Speaker Owns An Interesting
Collection.
The University library owns n spe
cial library gathered by Prof. W. U.
Xewbold of the University or Pennsyl
vania who will speak before Phi Hota
Kappa and Sigma XI Friday nnd
Saturday. This is a collection of phil
osophical classics numbering about
ISO volumes. It Is largely the first or
early editions and includes works of
Aristotle. Pruno. Descartes. Hobbes
and others. A first edition of Her
bert Spencer's "First Principles" con
tains a letter signed by Spencer on
the inside cover.
One book was printed by Benjamin
Franklin in 17a2 and on the inside
cover has the name R. Saunders writ
ten in eighteenth century hand.
Richard Saunders was the name as
sumed by Franklin in Poor Richard's
Almanac. There is a first edition of
Descartes-Meditations which is a very
tare book not owned by the British
Museum or the Library of Congress.
A number of the most Interesting of
he books are on display in the library
