for the week indicated. The first di
vision is for calls from campus to the
city; the next division from one cam
pus to the other; and the last for
calls which are local upon one campus.
By this system of recording calls ac
curate estimates of the number of
new phones to bo installed under the
new system, can be made.

And now that the finals of the base
section boxing meet are to be held on
next Tuesday night, the D&ssens ath

plans for beginning anew In the de
velopment of fistic material. On Tues
day night In Bassens an amateur box
ing tournament Is to be held at V. M.
C A, No. 9. tiaasens is one of the
largest centers In Base Section No.
2 and haa given to the base boxing
team, the heavy-weight champion,
Drlscoll, and the middle-weight title
holder, Peterson. Other likely material
Is to be presented on the boxing card
Tuesday night.
This is not the only act of reorgan
Izatlon which Lieut. Campbell has In
corporated in his plans. At the pres
ent time he haa twelve basket ball
teams playing In a district league.
They are: 312th Engineers, Headquar
ters Company Camp No. 4, Company C,
13th Marines; Company A, 18th Ma
rines; Company B, 13th Marines;
Company E, 312th Engineers; 109th
Ammo Train; 6Sth, C. A. C; 113th
Supply Train; Co. A, 2nd Pioneer Inf.;
121st Engineer and the Refrigerating
Plant.
14 Team Sign for Bordeaux League
Announcement was made yesterday
afternoon by Lieutenant John D. Mc
Kibben, base athletic officer, that 14
teams had signed for the Bordeaux
baseball league. The baseball com
mission, heatHed by Lt. McKibben,
with Lt. Walter Campbell and Mr. R.
R. Boardman, regional athletic direc
tor of the Y. M. C. A., will meet to
morrow to arrange a schedule of
games.
The date set for the opening of the
league series is Sunday, March 16.
In the olumns of the American edition
of the '"Petite Gironde" a complete
schedule of the games and list of the
teams entered will be published on
: Friday next.
The Bordeaux League will play for
; the base championship. The winner
of the sectional series, automatically
enters the S. O. S. final series, and
the winner of this in turn, meets the
champions of the First, Second, and
Third Armies, for the A. E. F. title.
In the S. O. S. League, Bordeaux is
to have a place. This association is
entirely separate from the Bordeaux
or Base Two League, and is for an
entirely different championship. No
definite date has been set for the
opening of this league series, but
rumor has it that it is to follow close
after the opening of the Base games.

The 58th C. A. C. continued in their
winning streak with a hard fought bat
tle with the 312th Engineers. Kunlz
was the star player. The score or tne
58th-Engineers duel was 19 to 8.
A very fast game was put across by
Companies A and C of the 13th Ma
rines. Armstrong and Greenberg were
the stellar players for Company A,
with Reyes playing well for C Com
pany. The standing of the league places
the 58th C. C. at the lend, with A Com
pany of the 13th Marines running one
point behind Companies B and C of
the Marines and the 312th Engineers
are f ed for third, with the HCh Sup
pi, the 121st Engineers, and the 109th
Amo Train splitting even for fourth
place. Camp Huntington and the M.
T. C. are runrrng at the end of the list.
